Adjusting Polaris Gas Shocks

The Sachs idle Finder

The 150 and 175 cc engines Sachs from the 50's had a "neutral finder" that could be operated by a cable from the handlebar with a small lever.
1) shows the entrance of the cable into the connector housing,
2) here the cable is hooked into the neutral gear lever.
With the clutch pulled so comfortable you could insert any gear out of the next idle (yes, the gear had 3 neutral positions). The foot shifter that's sometimes not as comfortable (eg, when the foot just for supporting on the ground needed), and was a neutral indicator light's still not at that time, yes.
